name your favourite dessert.
(i just got to share some of mine at bacchus. the lovely ladies and i split some: white choc. creme brulee, triamisu, freshly churned espresso ice cream and a choc/hazelnut croquant–definitely a new fav. aren’t i a lucky girl?)
Ack!! I’m wracking my brain!! I love chocolate lava cake…is that what it’s called? You know when you cut it open with your spoon and chocolate pours out? MMMM. Must be accompanied by good quality vanilla ice cream.
Back when ice cream was still “in” and gelato hadn’t taken over the world, Brian and I loved to go out to Baskin-Robbins for dessert. My usual cone was a double scoop of Gold Medal Ribbon and Chocolate-Peanut Butter in a sprinkle-dipped waffle cone. Those boring gelato cones simply pale in comparison. It’s probably a good thing for my waistline that the BR on Cambie & 25th (one of the selling points of this house for me was its proximity) is now gone, replaced by a transit station.
